Can you believe we’re about to celebrate a year since moving into our new offices? We’re hoping you’ve already had a chance to stop by since we’ve opened, but if not, today, we are giving you a tour!
Let’s start where all of the design magic happens. Our design team works out of our ultra-collaborative office space with open workstations, a spacious sample library, and our sunny conference room with Elizabeth (that’s our tree!). With 18′ high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, our work environment is always flooded with natural light! It was one of the main features that made us fall in love with the space. Did you know that when we got the keys, we had four bare concrete walls to work with? Yep! this move started with one major renovation.
Our public powder room is one of my favourites! The lime-washed walls add warmth and tie in the green found in the natural marble countertops. We have a soft spot for living finishes, so we opted for an unlacquered brass wall-mounted faucet.
Our 6000 sq. ft. location houses our design studio, our store; Hibou Home, and the newest edition to our Hibou umbrella; Hibou Café. The café serves lunch, pastries, and lots of snacks. Plus, we make a pretty awesome latte!
Hibou Home is our passion project! We always knew we wanted to one day open a boutique and we knew this was our chance when we first saw the space. We curate the best furniture and the most unique accessories for our clients already, so it was only natural to share that with the rest of you and open a store. With Hibou Home, we continue to focus on the details. Small accessories and accents that bring a design together and make a home feel complete is what we do best.
