We have some pretty awesome clients! They all teach us something and are a pleasure to work with in their own individual way. Some are flexible in terms of aesthetic, some have great budgets to work with that allows us to shop outside of our usual suppliers, some have homes with great bones, some are extremely intelligent and others are simply hilarious, which makes it enjoyable to spend time with them. One thing is for sure, we can always find something that amazes us about each and every client we work with. The client interaction on our Bedbrook Project was no different! Their easy-going attitude is what made them stand out.
It all started with a simple bathroom remodel. The homeowners knew they wanted to work with us before even receiving our estimate for the project. They had been following us on social media, reading all of our client reviews and liked our style which is always a great way to start the project – with lots of trust. They had planned for the work of the bathroom renovation to be executed during a vacation. All tiles and plumbing fixtures were selected and confirmed virtually, without even seeing samples of the products we were suggesting. The finishes were delivered and installed while the clients were away and they only saw everything once they arrived back home to a new bathroom. Kind of a dream renovation scenario if you ask me.
We then moved on to the decor of their living room and dining room, which played out in a very similar way. We met with the clients only one time before going back to their residence to complete our Staging Day. Concepts were developed, sent over by email and approved, all within two weeks. They never saw any fabrics, colours or samples in person prior to agreeing to move forward, which is a rare occasion. We placed all of the orders, coordinated all the deliveries and staged their home.
The next project was eight months later when our clients decided to give their kitchen a facelift. We changed the backsplash, counters, hardware, and exposed the original hardwood flooring beneath the tiles. It was another quick project where the conceptual work was sent over by email and approved within 48 hours.
The next time we walked back into their home was for our photoshoot. Their decor was exactly how we left it. The kitchen had been installed exactly as per our specifications and the clients were thrilled with the results. The level of trust that we experience while working on our Bedbrook Project was something we’ve never experience before. Not one design choice, was questioned and all of our first options were selected. This project was even more unique because we executed it as we would a Virtual Design Service, while the property was just a short drive away. It’s not often that we encounter a project with zero hurdles to overcome and when they come along, we celebrate them!
