It sounds like a dream these days since we’re always sharing projects that run smoothly, effortlessly and quickly. It’s only because our longer and more complicated projects are still ongoing and there’s nothing new and exciting to report. So for now, we’re celebrating these quick wins!
The mandate was simple, this client had a short list of non-negotiables that included a lot of white and brightness, and an italian style custom walk-in shower. The first consultation was a direct to-the-point meeting outlining the clients requests that lasted about 35 minutes. The presentation also took about 30 minutes and was accepted in full without hesitations. We then moved on to acquiring two contractor bids, placed all of the orders and starting the work that was completed in roughly two weeks.
The clients went ahead with our design coordination package, where we have scheduled site visits to assure that the design we agreed upon with the client is implemented and try to alleviate the stresses to the client that are brought on during a renovation. Our design coordination service allows us to solve any issues that may occur during the process and in this case, during demolition our design of a linear drain and the location of the niche wasn’t going to work due to plumbing limitations that could not have been foreseen. We solved the issue by moving the niche over to the right side of the plumbing fixtures and a center tiled drain that is completely invisible!

- Tile (Go through orientation of tiles, specifications, and grout colours)
- Cabinetry (If there is custom cabinetry, we are on site for measurements to go through all the details)
- Cabinetry Install (Box install and countertop measurements)
- Deficiency (During the finishing/painting phase)
We had a little hiccup near the end of the project when the quartz selected for the shower niche was no longer available, but after some back and forth bouncing ideas off of the contractor (who was supplying the stone), all was resolved without impact to the overall aesthetic. WIN!
