The client, a young family of 3, requested a neutral palette with varying textures, and so that’s exactly what we gave them. The camel leather couch brings in some warmth and the layered neutral pillows add depth. We mixed metals by bringing in satin brass on the accent tables and accessories and used flat black frames and accents to relate to the stark original fireplace.
The window on the wall behind the couch was totally off centre, so to break the focus of the wonky window, we installed wall to wall, floor to ceiling sheer panels that add another dimension to the space and make the already high ceilings feel taller.
