About the project
A full-home renovation that began with a second-floor reconfiguration and evolved into a complete transformation across all three levels. By rethinking the existing footprint rather than expanding it, we were able to create a spacious primary suite, rework the children’s bedrooms and introduce a highly functional family layout tailored to modern living.
Thoughtful detailing, warm natural materials and seamless connections between spaces preserve the home’s original charm while completely transforming how it functions day to day.
DESIGNED TO DISAPPEAR
Custom cabinetry in the family room conceals the entrance to the children’s playroom. When the doors are closed, the wall reads as beautiful built-in game storage, with no indication that another room sits behind it. Open them, and the two spaces become directly connected.
It’s a detail we love because it captures so much of what Hampstead Hideaway was about: making every square foot work better while keeping the design intentional and beautiful.
